Dear Survivor / family member and Supporter
My reason for typing this particular news item is as a result of our commitment to honesty and transparency. Our commitment to ensure that this organisation works for you and your family both now and into the future. This will form part of a wider commitment to allowing Survivors gain the correct information and indeed allow suggestions come from people who may want to air their ideas or ask any question that we can practically answer.
We find that often the best ideas are from suggestions that are offered from Survivors but not everybody is comfortable asking the questions, so hopefully this will give you an avenue of anonymity that will allow any person ask questions and offer suggestions that drive the organisation forward.
I sincerely hope that any questions you have are asked because every question that allows Survivors receive answers is crucial. Additionally any question that is asked in our office will be added to this section also for everybody to see the answers.
Looking forward to your questions and I will hope to have this option open once a month or once every two months.

Over the next few days/weeks there will be suggestions fortcoming from me hopefulley that it will improve the lives of survivors, the suggestion as above I propose that you should write updates at least every 2 weeks rather than once a month then it will appear that ROP is proactive on behalf of survivors.
This as far as i, and a lot of Survivors are concerned is Intimidation, and forcing the Survivor to reveal who he is and where he comes from. This is NOT fair.
Now Micheal, i have been asking questions for years, but you do NOT answer any of them, WHY?
As you said yourself in your posting above, questions that are offered from SURVIVORS.
Now Micheal, I AM A SURVIVOR, so WHY will you NOT answer my questions?
I will retain a copy of my message, to see what response you will give. Thank you.
That is brilliant as you are aware we are always open to suggestions because this is often where the best ideas come from.
I also agree with you that the website needs to be updated more regularly, however this can often be difficult because the information is only collated once every quarter. That said, I still completely agree with you and as such I will personally pick this up and try to ensure additional information is put up a lot more frequently.
First and foremost thank you for your comment.
To address the specific question that you have asked is as follows: In most AGM's there is a time limit allocated to each question. The purpose of this is to ensure those that want to ask a question have sufficient time in which to ask them. If there was an unlimited amount of time for questioning many people simply would not get to ask a question. This would not be practical as we wanted to allocate time for each person who wanted to speak.
Additionally to this, requesting that somebody give their name and region is not intimidating as you put it. The simple reasoning behind this was to allow people identify their area so if an issue was raised then it could be addressed to the specific Outreach Officer (Or representative) with responsibility to that region. This would allow for any issues in the region to be addressed directly with the very people who work on the ground with Survivors. This is standard practice at a professionally run organisations AGM and ensures that issues / questions / suggestions are efficiently managed to ensure they are acted upon or answered as honestly and as quickly as possible.
Finally Mossie, we will answer any questions that you have and we have always maintained this. ANY Survivor / Family member is entitled to use any of our many avenues to gather information, ask questions or offer suggestions.
This is the very reason why the above posting is addressed not only to Survivors but their family members and Supporters of Survivors also.
Thanks.
I must say Right of place has improved a lot over the last couple of months and Michael is a credit to us survivors keep up the good work
I noticed the improvement on your site I find it a great improvement and a lot easier to surf Keep up the good work this can only be good for survivors, I was wondering if we could put more colour on the main page to brighten things up a bit. regards
