Request for Photographs

A Survivor from the UK recently contacted our offices with request for photographs, the details of which photographs can be viewed below:
- St Vincents Industrial School, Drogeda, first communion 1941-1946
- St Patricks Industrial School, Kilkenny, Any Photos 1932-1945
- St. Jospehs Industrial School, Kilkenny, Any Photos 1932-1945
- St. Patricks Industrial School, Upton, Cork, first communion and confirmation or any photos 1934-1952
If you have any pictures of the above this Survivor would be more then grateful to receive a copy of them. If you can supply details or information please contact Outreach Co-Ordinator, Ann Marie Crean on 1890 200 709.

In June 2009 I was also looking for photographs of residents in St Patricks Upton Co Cork for the years 1961-1964 but of no avail but I did come across some photographs for previous years for 1932 to 1960s I got these photographs in the Bandon public libery in Co Cork as a matter of fact I did get copys of these photographs from this libruary and handed them over to noel barry for the Cork Right of Place when I came back from Bandon on the same day im sure they are somewhere in ROP Cork Regards
I have one or two of Upton that are up on our walls in Cork. However, this particular gentleman is requiring more than just Upton. thanks for the phone call today it was helpful.
We might try and build a database of pictures also to have should Survivors want to access them into the future.
So additionally the above if any Survivor has pictures, not just the above dates please let us no by ringing any of our offices.

Over the last few years I have managed to hold on to some photographs of the Presidential function that was held in 2009 also photographs of the humbert summer school award plate for all survivor for there tenasity and courage that was presented in the same year if you like I could download a few photographs that other surviors might be intrested in. regards
